The Maumee Bay Brew Pub is located in the main ballroom on the second floor of the historic Oliver House. Our menu offers terrific comfort food, wood-fire brick oven pizzas, “build your own” burgers, and great appetizers with a perfect view of the 500-gallon tanks of the Maumee Bay Brewing Co’s crafted brews. Whether you like a crisp and light summer beer, a hoppy and balanced IPA, a full-bodied toasty stout, or something a bit historical, we have the beer for you. The Pub is a unique setting filled with wonderful brewing and beer memorabilia to explore.

The historical building which houses the Maumee Bay Brew Pub, opened in 1859 as a premiere hotel and since then has accrued a rich and interesting history. Several United States Presidents are said to have stayed here including Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant and James A. Garfield. During the Spanish-American War the hotel was used as a basic hospital where wounded soldiers were tended to in the upstairs rooms. It is this very same history that has won the Oliver House a place in Ohio’s Top Ten Most Haunted Buildings or Places. The Oliver House is listed on the National Register of Historical Places and is an Ohio Historical Marker.

Old Siege Lifter - On Tap Now!

This brew features nice, calming features of multigrain bread, biscuits, chocolate, and ends with a soft honey sweetness. Three hop additions give balance ad end in a mild earthy character. Honey malt and 60 lbs of honey from some local bees were also added. Beware of the red Coats! Drink local, drink American!

American wheat matched with apricot puree from Napa Valley come together to create an antioxidant rich beer that is as good for you as it is for your senses.

MBBPub Co's ROOTBEER!

Handcrafted on premises with frosty goodness. Old-fashioned root beer is making a nostalgic comeback. Maybe because it's caffeine-free and sweetened with cane sugar, not corn syrup. The satisfying and complex flavor comes from cinnamon, vanilla, sassafras, ginger, licorice, cherry - and even wintergreen to balance out the sweetness.
